SHIVA RAJ ADHIKARI is a member of Public Expenditure Review Commission. He received his PhD in economics from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 2010. Since, then, he has devoted most of his spare time to teach Macroeconomics at the Tribhuvan University and to carry out various researches in economics and policy issues. His research interests include impact evaluation, cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, benefit incidence analysis, equity in government financing, among others. He has involved in different capacity, as an economist, policy export, a health economist, a team leader and a team member in several research activities supported by national and international organizations.
Outcomes of his researches are published in, World Bank Economic review, Journal of Health Economics Lancet, Health Economics, Economic Journal of Development Issues, International Journal of Health Care Management, among many others. Books and book chapters based on his researches are published by Spinger, Singapore; Institute for Human Development, New Delhi, VL media Solution, New Delhi, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok; and Vidhyarthi Pustam Bhandar, Kathmandu, Nepal.
